The 8″ Blade Tamer sheath features a tough exterior made from military ballistic grade nylon. Strong webbing finishes the sewn edge of all our sheaths. Durable nylon inner liner with an open tip for maximum drainage will keep your Victorinox-Forschner knife unsoiled and protected. Belt loop attachment keeps the knife close, but also safe and secure. The BT 8 is the workhorse of our line and is designed to fit the 8” breaking knife (model #40537), one of R.H. Forschner’s biggest selling knives. This knife will handle the majority of your fillet needs when it comes to Mahi Mahi, Mutton Snapper, Grouper and smaller-sized Kingfish.
